I_You seeks to portray the relationship between the I in the present, and the You from different stages of life. It is a reflection of self and also, a questioning of identity as an individual moves through different points in time and stages of life. The work presents material that focuses on lived experiences and growing pains through the use of CRT televisions.
Placed on top of one another, the stack of televisions each represents a window of time in life and portrays an interpretation of past experiences by drawing on videos related to the sky, earth and sea. Facing the stack lies a single CRT television which is symbolic of the I and the act of looking at and reflecting on You.
